Tasks

• Contribute to operational efficiency improvements
• Coordinate with third-party vendors
• Deliver small to mid-scale projects
• Enforce security best practices
• Improve customer uptime metrics
• Install and configure server racks
• Mentor less technical staff on break fix best practices
• Participate in data center power and cooling events
• Participate in hiring process and candidate interviews
• Participate in metric analysis and project status updates
• Remediate physical layer outages
• Remediate power issues on racks
• Replace server and network device parts
• Resolve trouble tickets
• Rotate parts and spares
• Serve as point of contact for high severity issues
• Triage and resolve device tickets
• Troubleshoot Linux server issues
• Troubleshoot XEN virtualization
