Tasks
- Apply data cataloging concepts
- Build ETL data pipelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders on data requirements
- Design data warehousing schemas
- Develop Azure Synapse notebooks and pipelines
- Develop ETL transformations and loading
- Ensure data security and data governance
- Extract data from CSV files
- Extract data from REST APIs
- Extract data from SQL tables
- Implement data lakes lakehouses and delta lakes
- Implement data quality checks
- Maintain ETL documentation
- Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot issues
- Optimize Synapse notebooks for performance
- Tune SQL and SparkSQL performance
