Data Engineer (GCP)
Tasks
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines
- Collaborate on KPI definitions and reporting requirements
- Design and maintain data models
- Develop and enhance operational and management reporting
- Develop and maintain data solutions on Google Cloud Platform
- Document data models transformations and business rules
- Ensure data quality consistency integrity and availability
- Extract transform and consolidate data from PostgreSQL
- Implement logging monitoring and data governance
- Monitor data processing workflows and resolve production issues
- Optimize cloud performance and cost
- Optimize database queries and data structures
- Participate in agile ceremonies
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting
- Prepare curated datasets and reporting layers for Looker Studio
- Translate business requirements into technical data specifications
- Validate reporting accuracy with QA teams
