Data Engineer

Tasks
- Build and maintain Data Factory pipelines for API ingestion
- Build and optimize Power BI semantic models in Direct Lake
- Create Dataflows Gen2 for Excel and CSV data preparation
- Develop Python ETL scripts for data extraction and ingestion
- Develop and maintain Spark Python notebooks and SQL transformations
- Implement data quality frameworks and validation
- Implement incremental loads watermarking and CDC patterns
- Integrate Dataverse and enterprise sources into Fabric
- Maintain documentation data dictionaries and architecture decisions
- Manage Fabric capacity pause resume scheduling and scaling
- Monitor pipeline performance platform health and capacity cost optimization
- Own Bronze to Silver transformations for cleansing and deduplication
- Own Silver to Gold transformations for fact and dimension modelling
- Prepare feature datasets for AI and ML workloads
