Tasks
- Assess Informatica workflows and translate to Python EL scripts and dbt models
- Build Airflow DAGs to orchestrate ETL and dbt runs
- Create technical documentation runbooks and handover materials
- Design dbt transformation models with layering macros incremental and snapshots
- Develop Python EL pipelines for high volume data loading
- Develop dbt tests and Python unit tests
- Implement GitLab CI CD for dbt and Airflow including lint testing and deployments
- Perform peer code reviews
- Reconcile row counts between source and target
- Troubleshoot performance issues and data discrepancies
