Tasks
- Apply dimensional modeling with star schemas fact tables and dimension tables
- Build ETL and ELT pipelines using Python and PySpark
- Collaborate with data architects data scientists analysts and business stakeholders
- Create logical and physical data models aligned with business goals
- Design and optimize Snowflake cloud data solutions
- Develop reusable data ingestion and transformation processes
- Diagnose pipeline performance issues and support incident resolution
- Enforce data engineering standards best practices and governance
- Ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance
- Implement Snowflake objects including streams tasks stages and stored procedures
- Implement automated data quality controls and monitoring
- Ingest and transform data from REST APIs relational databases and cloud storage
- Maintain documentation for pipelines transformations and data models
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake workloads and SQL queries for SLAs
- Support Snowflake integration with Azure services
