Data Engineering Analyst
Tasks
- Advise stakeholders on data definitions reporting capabilities limitations and best practices
- Assume ownership of reporting domains as expertise grows
- Automate recurring reporting processes
- Build and support SQL data warehouse views stored procedures dimensional models
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to improve reporting processes and documentation
- Contribute to automation and AI enabled data operations workflows
- Design develop and maintain Power BI dashboards reports semantic models DAX measures
- Develop and maintain layered architecture bronze silver gold reporting solutions
- Gather requirements and translate business needs into reporting solutions
- Investigate reporting issues and perform root cause analysis
- Manage scheduled dataset refreshes and troubleshoot refresh failures
- Modernize and document legacy reporting processes and systems
- Monitor and maintain data quality for reporting accuracy and consistency
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
- Track work priorities and deliverables in Jira
- Use Git and version control for reporting assets
