- Document pipeline architectures
- Evaluate OpenTelemetry and modern pipeline technologies
- Implement Splunk RBAC and authentication integrations
- Improve data quality through enrichment and cleansing
- Ingest transform filter and route telemetry
- Maintain Splunk runbooks and documentation
- Maintain telemetry governance standards
- Manage Splunk indexes and retention
- Monitor Splunk cluster health
- Onboard new data sources with governance
- Optimize ingestion cost through filtering sampling and aggregation
- Perform capacity planning
- Provide Tier 3 incident support
- Route security telemetry to Microsoft Sentinel
- Support SIEM migration data flows
- Support Splunk version upgrades
- Track Splunk licensing
- Troubleshoot ingestion pipeline failures
- Validate routing rules to prevent duplicate ingestion
