Data Platform Engineer III
Tasks
- Apply data governance lineage metadata security controls
- Build secure scalable data platforms and lakehouse solutions
- Deliver trusted governed datasets for reporting and AI initiatives
- Design data pipelines for ingest transform load
- Develop ETL ELT pipelines and orchestration
- Develop SQL Python and PySpark reusable components
- Implement CI CD source control deployment automation
- Implement integration patterns using APIs event driven and file based
- Implement medallion and lakehouse design patterns
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
- Monitor platform health performance and utilization
- Set up monitoring logging alerting and observability
- Support Azure and AWS data and infrastructure services
- Support Microsoft Fabric lakehouse and warehouse
- Support Power BI integration and refresh optimization
- Troubleshoot data pipeline integration and performance issues
