Tasks
- Coordinate planning testing and deployment with minimal disruption
- Define standardized onboarding frameworks and checklists
- Define track SLAs SLOs and KPIs
- Drive operational excellence continuous improvement
- Drive reuse and standardize platform capabilities
- Engage with architecture review boards and data architects
- Ensure 24x7 monitoring alerting and response
- Ensure high availability performance and stability
- Ensure security regulatory and validation compliance
- Escalate blockers and communicate during incidents and changes
- Execute release management for data engineering products
- Identify record and manage risks and issues
- Lead L2 L3 operations
- Lead mentor and develop operations team
- Maintain SOPs runbooks and knowledge repositories
- Manage data pipeline onboarding
- Manage environment monitoring patching and upgrades
- Manage incident, problem, change, and release
- Manage vendor and agency resources
- Optimize OPEX costs
- Own data platform day to day operations
- Perform root cause analysis
- Plan disaster recovery and resilience
- Provide technical leadership for data platform technologies
- Support CI CD pipelines automation and controlled promotion
- Troubleshoot and optimize data platforms
