Data Platforms Manager
Tasks
- Automate build and maintain cloud database platforms
- Build and maintain database deployment pipelines
- Conduct security assessments and risk evaluations
- Coordinate with teams to deliver software solutions
- Design implement and support scalable secure cloud database solutions
- Diagnose and resolve cloud incidents
- Drive automation culture and collaboration
- Implement CI CD workflows for infrastructure deployments
- Implement cloud security best practices with IAM and encryption
- Lead and coach database engineers
- Maintain cloud infrastructure documentation architecture diagrams SOPs runbooks
- Maintain database observability dashboards logs alerts and capacity planning
- Manage vulnerability remediation with patching and configuration management
- Migrate on premises databases to cloud native solutions
- Monitor performance, availability, and cost
- Provide production on call support for high severity incidents
- Provision and manage AWS resources with Terraform modules
