Database Administrator Engineer
Tasks
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and locking issues
- Audit SQL Server schema and stored procedures
- Define database standards and governance procedures
- Document database changes and manage change protocols
- Educate developers on SQL performance best practices
- Implement indexing strategies and partitioning
- Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures
- Refactor redundant stored procedures and tables
- Simplify complex joins and table relationships
- Use SQL Profiler Extended Events and DMVs for diagnostics
