Tasks
- Apply security best practices and integrate with AWS Secrets Manager
- Deploy and configure PostgreSQL and MySQL clusters
- Design and execute backup and disaster recovery plans
- Develop automation scripts for maintenance and monitoring
- Ensure compliance with data protection standards
- Implement WAL streaming and replication strategies
- Integrate databases with CI/CD pipelines and container environments
- Lead schema conversion and data migration
- Manage and optimize databases
- Manage user roles, permissions, and security
- Model AWS costs and size resources appropriately
- Monitor database performance and replication
- Set up secure database communication over VPN
- Tune database parameters
