Database Engineer - RDBMS
Tasks
- Automate database operations with infrastructure code
- Ensure database availability performance reliability
- Handle database replication and high availability
- Manage PostgreSQL capacity planning
- Manage stored procedures configuration and release management
- Monitor database health and capacity and take corrective actions
- Perform database backups restores and HADR
- Plan and execute SQL Server to PostgreSQL migrations with minimal downtime
- Provide on-call support for critical events
- Support Kubernetes PostgreSQL backups failovers and rolling upgrades
- Support schema design and SQL query optimization
- Triage DB operations requests
