Database Engineer (SQL / MySQL)
Tasks
- Design databases and define access strategies
- Enforce data integrity constraints
- Install and configure MySQL and SQL Server
- Maintain documentation and process standards
- Manage and administer database server environments
- Monitor database environments
- Perform SQL backup and recovery
- Perform day to day database operations
- Propose database architecture improvements
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for infrastructure tickets
- Provide technical support for escalated tickets
- Recommend and resolve performance issues
- Remediate legacy SQL databases
- Support out of hours on call
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
