Deputy Manager - Simulation & Robotics

Tasks

• Build station cell and line in PS with relevant resources
• Check gun reachability apply kinematics create collision free robot paths
• Conduct CAE simulation with Auto Form and PAM Stamp
• Create BIW robotic welding simulation cells and OLP
• Develop BIW process plans for manual and robotic welding lines
• Ensure zero errors collisions and losses with execution team
• Generate OLP with virtual controller cycle time accuracy
• Generate simulation and OLP standards and check sheets
• Generate welding tip dressing basic paths and zoning conditions
• Investigate root causes for cycle time target misses
• Optimize robot paths and zoning with line builders
• Perform formability analysis of sheet metal parts
• Prepare line layout manufacturing process flow cycle time charts and RFQ for BIW sub assemblies
• Recommend countermeasures for simulation defects
• Resolve customer concerns
• Study gun equipment and fixtures and suggest manufacturability changes
• Support installation commissioning and post SOP process prove out
• Verify simulation and OLP with CME process PLC and line builders
