Distinguished Engineer, Storage – AI Cloud
Tasks
- Architect high performance parallel file systems and object and block storage
- Conduct storage build reviews and production incident root cause analysis
- Define storage reference architecture and SLO roadmap
- Design storage layer for next generation workloads and cross DC data management
- Develop open source strategy for AI storage ecosystem
- Develop prototype reference implementations for new storage initiatives
- Formalize APIs SDKs and protocols for partner integrations
- Improve sustained efficiency and observability for storage systems
- Lead multi-year technical plan for AI Cloud storage expansion
- Mentor and develop engineers and raise technical bar
- Represent company in standards bodies and open source communities
- Set production ready standards for durability and availability
- Use AI coding and agentic tools for engineering workflows
