Embedded Firmware Engineer III
Tasks
- Design embedded firmware for battery and LED lighting products
- Develop Bluetooth LE and Wi Fi provisioning
- Develop Python tools for test automation data collection calibration and engineering analysis
- Develop battery management systems including SOC SOH coulomb counting cell balancing SBS
- Develop bootloader and application firmware
- Develop reusable C libraries with unit tests
- Implement embedded communications using SMBus I2C UART SPI Modbus TCP UDP
- Implement lighting control protocols including DMX512 RDM CRMX ArtNet sACN
- Implement low level device drivers and hardware interfaces
- Implement secure MQTT cloud connectivity
- Perform board bring up and on target debugging
- Plan and execute verification and regression testing
- Support firmware releases and manufacturing
- Troubleshoot firmware using schematics oscilloscopes logic analyzers JTAG SWD
