Embedded Software Engineer
Tasks
- Collect feature requirements and define implementation details
- Create lab test setups and perform on site debugging when needed
- Design embedded firmware for coherent optical modules
- Develop control software for power wavelength and modulator control
- Develop firmware for multi processor systems
- Implement low level drivers for optical electrical components
- Implement test automation and firmware verification workflows
- Integrate firmware with hardware during bring up
- Optimize control loops for coherent optics
- Support verification testing and root cause analysis
- Verify debug system level issues
- Work in agile sprint cycles
