- Break down problems and estimate development tasks
- Collaborate with global scrum teams
- Conduct pair programming and code reviews
- Debug and analyze complex real time systems
- Design real-time embedded software
- Develop board support package firmware
- Develop device drivers middleware and application firmware
- Develop embedded firmware for controller products
- Develop multi threaded and multi process real time software
- Implement boot architecture and startup sequences
- Implement network diagnostics and industrial cybersecurity considerations
- Integrate and optimize firmware for performance
- Integrate and validate industrial communication protocol stacks
- Perform hardware board bring up and firmware integration
- Troubleshoot embedded systems using debugging tools
- Use Agile practices and Continuous Integration
- Work across product definition to production release
