Tasks
- Build and lead embedded software and FPGA firmware engineering team
- Collaborate with manufacturing and test engineering on validation issues
- Contribute to next-generation platform design
- Define system architecture and product roadmaps
- Develop embedded software for new hardware platforms
- Develop measurement validation and test systems
- Drive defect resolution and enhancements
- Enable production test and characterization tools
- Expand into embedded control systems
- Lead embedded platform ownership transition
- Lead system level debugging across embedded electronics and control systems
- Manage system configuration calibration and platform optimizations
- Mentor engineers and drive knowledge transfer
- Migrate legacy systems to modern scalable architectures
- Modernize refactor and scale platform software
- Own end to end integration of software firmware and hardware
- Own released product system software and tools
- Plan documentation lifecycle and system sustainability
- Support manufacturing production readiness
