Engineering Manager-DBA
Tasks
- Architect and support MongoDB PostgreSQL and Cassandra clusters
- Build automation for database operations
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE on AWS database services
- Contribute to database roadmaps and AI DBA practices
- Define backup, recovery, HA, and DR strategies
- Enforce database security encryption and auditing
- Implement replication clustering and failover architectures
- Manage incident response and on-call rotations
- Own MySQL databases in production and staging
- Set up monitoring dashboards and alerting for database health
- Tune database performance optimize schemas indexes and partitioning
