Tasks
- Administer SQL Server databases and perform performance tuning
- Analyze query plans create indexes and resolve deadlocks
- Build dimensional models in SSAS
- Create SSIS script tasks using C# or VB.NET
- Design and implement OLTP and OLAP data models
- Design and maintain SSAS cubes and tabular models
- Design database environments and data flow diagrams
- Develop ETL packages in SSIS
- Develop Power BI and Tableau dashboards
- Develop and maintain reports in SSRS
- Implement data warehousing business rules using stored procedures
- Implement disaster recovery scripts and procedures
- Integrate reporting and dashboards with SharePoint
- Maintain change control and testing for database modifications
- Monitor ETL and data warehouse performance and execution time
- Troubleshoot data quality and database performance issues
- Troubleshoot report dashboard and ETL issues
- Verify accuracy of data in reports dashboards and extracts
- Write stored procedures and database access code
