Full Stack Java Engineer - Kafka & AWS MSK Migration - Client Site
Tasks
- Build full stack applications with React or Angular
- Create technical documentation migration runbooks and operational procedures
- Design build and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices
- Develop REST APIs for Kafka event publishing and consumption
- Develop migration strategies with validation dual read dual write and rollback
- Implement Kafka security using IAM TLS mTLS and SASL SCRAM
- Implement monitoring and observability with CloudWatch Prometheus and Grafana
- Lead Kafka migration to AWS MSK
- Mentor junior engineers
- Optimize Kafka performance with partitioning replication and consumer groups
- Provision infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Refactor Kafka producers and consumers for AWS MSK
- Troubleshoot application streaming and infrastructure performance issues
