• Apply risk frameworks and embed risk culture
• Challenge functional budgets
• Coach team on planning and performance management
• Coordinate communication between finance and business departments on budget issues
• Ensure capital budgets adherence
• Identify cost drivers and recommend cost control initiatives
• Improve management information quality
• Lead business analytics team
• Manage group reporting for planning and performance
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis
• Prepare and submit CMC and board packs
• Prepare capital plans and review WRA ratio compliance
• Prepare medium term plans and budgets
• Produce monthly management accounts
• Provide business performance analysis to senior management
• Recommend enhancements to financial management systems
• Review employee performance and support development plans
• Support and challenge results forecasts and plans
