HPC Systems Engineer
Tasks
- Build tooling to compile package install and upgrade software components
- Design high performance compute and storage systems
- Develop and monitor production computing maintenance tools
- Develop testing infrastructure
- Implement and support fault monitoring
- Implement and support performance monitoring
- Manage vendor relationships
- Monitor system storage and network performance
- Optimize HPC infrastructure use with researchers
- Perform coordinated maintenance operations
- Perform root cause analysis
- Provide operational support on a rotating basis
- Write system and user documentation
