Tasks
- Adapt to surgeon preferences procedures and technologies
- Assist with patient positioning site verification and surgical time out
- Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia and OR staff to optimize workflow
- Complete accurate intraoperative documentation and regulatory compliance
- Ensure instrument supply and robotic equipment readiness
- Enter preop and PACU orders
- Maintain sterile technique and perioperative safety protocols
- Perform intraoperative procedures within scope such as line placement and device insertion
- Perform postoperative rounding as requested
- Perform surgical assisting tasks including suturing hemostasis and wound closure
- Provide robotic support including docking undocking and instrument exchange
- Respond to intraoperative changes in patient condition with anesthesia coordination
- Serve as first or second assist across surgical specialties
