Lead Consultant - Level 2 Storage & Backup Engineer
Tasks
- Administer Pure Storage FlashArray and FlashBlade environments
- Administer Rubrik CDM for backup restore and disaster recovery
- Configure SLA domains backup policies and retention schedules
- Create and maintain runbooks and SOPs
- Design and implement storage solutions for projects and migrations
- Develop automation using REST APIs PowerShell or Python
- Ensure compliance with backup and data retention policies
- Execute restore operations file level VM level and application level
- Handle firmware upgrades and lifecycle management
- Implement storage and backup replication snapshots and DR solutions
- Integrate storage and backup with monitoring tools
- Maintain documentation for DR and recovery procedures
- Manage Dell Isilon PowerScale NAS platforms
- Monitor backups remediate failures and generate reports
- Perform DR testing and recovery validation
- Perform storage provisioning capacity planning and performance tuning
- Provide L2 and L3 operational support and participate in on call rotations
- Support ransomware recovery and cyber resilience use cases
- Troubleshoot storage performance and availability issues
