Junior Test Engineer
Tasks
- Conduct sample and cell-level comparisons
- Execute data validation queries
- Execute functional tests for business rules
- Execute performance tests for key queries
- Execute test cases and record results
- Log defects in defect tracking tools
- Log discrepancies and support root-cause analysis
- Maintain test case repositories and execution logs
- Monitor pipeline runs for failures and anomalies
- Perform integration testing across layers
- Perform row-count checks
- Retest resolved defects and rerun regression
- Run aggregate validations
- Run regression testing for migration waves
- Test Databricks notebooks and jobs
- Understand Informatica mappings and expected outputs
- Validate dbt models on Snowflake
- Validate downstream report and extract outputs
- Validate schema consistency
- Verify CDC incremental load handling
