Tasks
- Build and optimize scalable data pipelines
- Collaborate with product and platform teams
- Define dimensional data models
- Design and evolve product data architecture
- Design event tracking architecture
- Design fact tables and dimension tables
- Diagnose and resolve data pipeline issues
- Ensure grain and performance consistency
- Implement ETL and ELT pipelines
- Implement Slowly Changing Dimensions
- Implement data quality, monitoring, and alerting
- Mentor data engineers through reviews and design discussions
- Prepare and document analytics and machine learning datasets
- Provide architectural guidance and enforce modeling standards
- Validate and reconcile data
