- Administer DFSMShsm HSM including tuning and troubleshooting
- Administer tape and catalog services including monitoring and recovery
- Conduct capacity and growth management
- Create spreadsheets and reports for capacity planning and performance trending
- Design execute and test disaster recovery plans
- Develop and debug JCL for diagnostics
- Manage IBM PMRs for storage issues
- Manage SMS policies and ACS routines
- Monitor and report RPO compliance
- Monitor and troubleshoot GDPS Global Mirror replication
- Perform hardware software upgrades migrations and resiliency projects
- Provide 24x7 enterprise storage support
- Tune storage system performance
