- Create flexible workcenter layouts
- Design and maintain process flow diagrams
- Develop manufacturing documentation and work instructions
- Evaluate and implement manufacturing technologies
- Identify bottlenecks using simulation
- Improve processes through iteration
- Justify capital projects
- Lead factory layout design and optimization
- Lead workcenter programming and sizing
- Optimize layout throughput and material flow
- Participate in process FMEAs and risk assessments
- Perform line balancing and flow analysis
- Report factory standup status to leadership
- Support construction cost estimates
- Support transition to high-volume production
- Support validation of new production lines and equipment
- Translate engineering requirements into manufacturing processes
