Tasks
- Advise engineers on SQL queries and schema design
- Apply database patches and version upgrades
- Create data pipelines in Airflow
- Ensure database reliability and security
- Maintain MongoDB Atlas and on prem
- Maintain SQL Server and PostgreSQL on prem and AWS
- Manage MongoDB production databases
- Manage high availability and disaster recovery
- Minimize database downtime
- Monitor database health and performance
- Optimize MongoDB performance
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Plan long term scalability and architecture
- Support data extraction from MongoDB and SQL Server
