Multidisciplinary Design & Optimization (MDAO) Engineer – UAS designer
Tasks
- Analyze sensitivity and configuration tradeoffs
- Define mission profiles and operating envelopes
- Develop and maintain sizing and performance models
- Develop internal design automation workflows and data driven processes
- Evaluate performance and control authority
- Execute optimization studies for geometry and mass distribution
- Generate technical documentation and engineering reports
- Integrate aerodynamics structures propulsion and control in aircraft design
- Lead multidisciplinary design optimization for UAS
- Perform conceptual and preliminary design studies
- Support design requirements constraints margins and verification logic
