Power BI Developer – Front End Focus
Tasks
- Apply data governance naming conventions documentation standards access principles retention rules
- Build and monitor ETL ELT data integration pipelines
- Build and optimize semantic models star schema dimensional modelling
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and adoption
- Communicate data logic KPI definitions lineage and assumptions
- Contribute to proof of concepts and adoption of new BI capabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Implement data quality controls and validation rules
- Maintain metadata and technical documentation data lineage and definitions
- Monitor refresh incidents and improve reliability usability
- Propose improvements to BI architecture tooling and ways of working
- Translate business questions into KPI definitions and metrics
- Write advanced DAX formulas and Power Query M transformations
