Principal AI Research Engineer
Tasks
- Define research roadmap for AI capabilities
- Design train fine tune and evaluate language models
- Establish evaluation frameworks benchmarks and quality metrics
- Implement retrieval augmented generation systems
- Lead scalable training and inference pipelines
- Mentor engineers set technical standards and raise quality bars
- Monitor emerging techniques and communicate results externally
- Partner with ML engineering to ship production features
