Principal Embedded Firmware Engineer
Tasks
- Define firmware architecture for future generations
- Diagnose firmware and hardware issues using logs telemetry serial traces reproduction
- Drive OTA release lifecycle including signing staged deployment rollback health validation incident response
- Improve reproducible builds and release documentation
- Improve system incrementally while delivering customer and partner capabilities
- Maintain backward compatibility across firmware versions device configurations and protocols
- Manage build flash provisioning release update pipelines
- Own CR-One firmware platform
- Partner with backend and dashboard teams on device configuration telemetry fleet health remote support
- Support factory programming provisioning production testing hardware revisions and failure analysis
