Principal Embedded Firmware Engineer
Tasks
- Debug HW FW issues with JTAG and trace tools
- Define embedded firmware architecture for SoCs
- Define register maps and memory maps
- Design and implement device drivers for SoC peripherals
- Develop boot ROM and bootloader
- Develop low level firmware in C C++
- Drive post silicon bring up
- Ensure firmware maintainability and scalability across SoC generations
- Implement error handling logging and recovery
- Implement secure boot and early initialization
- Integrate RTOS or bare metal
- Lead pre silicon firmware development
- Provide firmware input for architecture and silicon reviews
- Support manufacturing test and field diagnostics
