Tasks
- Create and implement automation and robotics strategy
- Design develop prototype test automated solutions
- Execute new automation and robotics technology implementations
- Identify machine requirements from capability shortfalls
- Implement PLC logic for industrial automation devices
- Implement productivity actions using automation and robotics
- Integrate hardware software and sensors into automation platforms
- Lead Lean initiatives and support AWO actions to completion
- Lead and develop automation and robotics team activities
- Lead safety quality and technology issue resolution
- Lead simulations and tests for automation performance
- Monitor automation enablers and manage improvement requests
- Organize operator training and qualifications
- Program robots for motion control path planning and navigation
- Provide daily manufacturing support
- Support engineering with automation technology expertise
- Troubleshoot and debug automation and robotic systems
