Senior Cloud Database Engineer (Hybrid - Seattle, WA)
Tasks
- Architect deploy operate AWS database services
- Define AWS database standards governance deployment patterns
- Design backup, high availability, disaster recovery strategies
- Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure as code
- Establish AWS monitoring and performance optimization
- Lead incident response and on call for production systems
- Manage GoldenGate CDC pipelines including Extract Replicat trail file management
- Mentor engineers and conduct workshops and runbooks
- Operate Microsoft SQL Server environments including HA AG backup recovery performance tuning security hardening and incident response
- Operate Oracle databases including patching OEM management ASM AWR statspack and RAC
- Support database migrations to Aurora PostgreSQL
