Senior Data Center Engineer
Tasks
- Automate routine activities and improve operational efficiency
- Deploy and maintain physical data center infrastructure
- Design and manage documentation repositories workflows and dashboards
- Follow data center safety standards operational procedures and change management
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements
- Install and decommission servers storage and network equipment
- Install route terminate and manage structured copper and fiber cabling
- Maintain inventory records and asset tracking
- Manage hardware refresh and equipment lifecycle
- Perform hardware inspections and basic troubleshooting
- Perform rack and stack hardware mounting and positioning
- Use Microsoft SharePoint Teams and Microsoft 365 for collaboration
- Validate power connections and PDU assignments
