Tasks
- Apply security and governance controls using IAM and policy driven access patterns
- Build reusable data ingestion transformation quality and orchestration frameworks
- Define standardized ingestion transformation and serving patterns for batch and streaming
- Design and implement scalable secure data platforms on Google Cloud
- Design data platform architectures using BigQuery Dataflow Apache Beam Dataproc Spark Pub Sub and Cloud Storage
- Develop config driven and connector based ingestion pipelines with schema and error handling
- Develop data modeling and semantic layers in BigQuery
- Develop shared transformation libraries in Python SQL and Apache Beam
- Document runbooks patterns and best practices
- Enable self service data consumption and governance
- Enforce data quality lineage and observability
- Implement orchestration using Cloud Composer or Cloud Workflows with CI CD integration
- Optimize cost performance and reliability of GCP data workloads
