Senior Data Engineer I
Tasks
- Architect and maintain GitLab CI pipelines for dbt and deployments
- Automate data governance and access control via code
- Collaborate with data scientists BI developers and data engineers
- Define and monitor data pipeline SLIs SLOs SLAs
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines
- Develop and maintain dbt data models with testing and documentation
- Evaluate and adopt new data engineering technologies
- Implement observability and alerting for data pipelines
- Lead data infrastructure design and implementation
- Lead engineering standards code reviews and best practices
- Optimize data warehouse performance and costs
- Process real time and near real time data
- Troubleshoot data pipeline and infrastructure issues
