Tasks
- Analyze data issues and troubleshoot production incidents
- Apply data engineering best practices and design patterns
- Automate data pipeline workflows and validations
- Build distributed low latency reliable data pipelines
- Collaborate with agile teams to design and develop data engineering solutions
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Create data flow and technical design documentation
- Design batch and streaming data pipelines for big data workloads
- Design data model improvements with analytics and business teams
- Develop unit and integration tests
- Implement access controls and encryption for data security and privacy
- Implement real time data ingestion for streaming workloads
- Monitor data quality and enforce data consistency
- Optimize code for performance
