Tasks
- Build reusable data frameworks transformation models and orchestration workflows
- Contribute to data governance lineage cataloguing and metadata management
- Design Snowflake schemas warehouses and clustering strategies
- Design and maintain curated trusted scalable data models
- Design build and maintain cloud data platforms
- Develop ELT ETL pipelines for data ingestion and transformation
- Drive continuous improvement in data architecture tooling and delivery practices
- Enable self service analytics with semantic layers and governed datasets
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
- Establish observability and operational monitoring for pipelines
- Implement data quality controls validation and reconciliation
- Implement infrastructure as code for data platform provisioning
- Lead Snowflake architecture optimization and operations
- Maintain data engineering standards documentation and best practices
- Manage Snowflake access controls roles permissions and secure sharing
- Mentor junior engineers and analysts
- Monitor usage query performance and cost consumption
- Optimize BI and reporting platforms
- Optimize data storage transformation and query performance
- Support near real time and batch data processing
