Senior Data Engineer
Tasks
- Build and enhance SSRS reports
- Design develop and maintain SSIS packages
- Diagnose and resolve production data and report issues with root cause analysis
- Maintain auditability and traceability of data and changes
- Manage environment and configuration changes across Dev QA and Prod
- Mentor junior data and report engineers
- Model and evolve relational schemas for reporting needs
- Review pull requests and enforce SQL and SSIS standards
- Tune query and package performance with indexing and execution plan analysis
- Use AI assisted tools to accelerate SQL and ETL development
- Validate report output with QA and business analysts
- Write and optimize T-SQL stored procedures functions views and triggers
