Senior Data Platform Engineer (Python)
Tasks
- Add data quality checks and data compliance
- Apply CI/CD best practices
- Containerize workloads with Docker
- Contribute to Lakehouse architecture adoption
- Define ingestion validation and promotion standards
- Design build maintain Python data pipelines
- Enforce data governance access control and schema validation
- Implement ingestion and transformation layer
- Implement monitoring and alerting
- Improve throughput and reduce latency
- Ingest data into AWS data lake on S3
- Load data into AWS warehouse with Redshift
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews
- Orchestrate pipelines with Apache Airflow
- Use Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Use dbt for transformation
- Work with Apache Iceberg Spark and Kafka
- Write clean testable documented Python
