Senior Data Scientist
Tasks
- Apply actions to extrapolation and sample representation
- Automate and develop solutions for existing processes
- Break down complex problems and drive solutions
- Build knowledge of Nielsen suite of products
- Calculate impact on panel study from proposed changes
- Calculate target sample sizes
- Compare universe results to prior years
- Define changes to extrapolation model
- Define recruitment targets for recruitment team
- Demonstrate Nielsen suite knowledge to others
- Develop data modeling approach for non cooperating companies
- Estimate POS universe by distribution channel
- Investigate data quality issues
- Manage and update shop address database
- Participate in data experiments and PoCs
- Present universe study results
- Propose solutions to client concerns with supervision
- Review industry innovations and apply to work
- Set measurable goals timelines and reproducible outcomes
- Understand client concerns
