- Apply NLP embeddings and generative AI techniques to production use cases
- Apply information retrieval NLP embeddings and generative AI research
- Apply responsible AI bias fairness and risk evaluation
- Architect and improve RAG pipelines
- Collaborate with domain experts to integrate scientific taxonomies and ontologies
- Define evaluation strategies for search and generative AI systems
- Design evaluation frameworks for IR and GenAI
- Design optimize lexical vector and hybrid retrieval systems
- Develop evaluation datasets gold standards and annotation strategies
- Drive experimentation with embeddings and re ranking models
- Guide experimental design including offline evaluation and A B testing
- Incorporate structured biomedical datasets into AI discovery pipelines
- Integrate knowledge graph and semantic enrichment into retrieval
- Lead development and evaluation of search and generative AI systems
- Own projects from problem definition through experimentation and deployment
