Senior Embedded Platform Engineer
Tasks
- Architect real time firmware for safety critical control platforms
- Build embedded communication infrastructure for vehicle buses
- Create test hooks debug interfaces logging and automation tools
- Develop and maintain embedded C and C++ firmware on real time microcontrollers
- Develop firmware frameworks for reusable control execution and diagnostics
- Diagnose MCU configuration clocks interrupts peripherals and sensors
- Follow disciplined safety critical software processes
- Implement and debug peripheral drivers and hardware abstraction layers
- Implement message timing arbitration diagnostics fault detection and recovery
- Integrate firmware with motor control BMS sensors and vehicle control software
- Own board support packages and peripheral initialization
- Own timing sensitive firmware layers and deterministic data flow
- Support SIL and HIL testing environments
- Support hardware bring up and board validation
- Support requirements traceability verification planning configuration control and certification readiness
